Laser Coagulation - This technique is relatively new and in this treatment electric current is applied through the hemorrhoids. The electric current causes a chemical reaction that shuts down blood supply to the hemorrhoid thereby causing it to shrink.
Hemorrhoidectomy - This procedure is surgical. Groups of hemorrhoids in the anal canal are removed surgically by using a scalpel, laser or cautery device.
